href='http://www.yourzzzcash.com/the-golfers-dream' target='_blank'>golf?

There are so many different methods thrown at us golfers. Whether our goal is breaking 100 for the first time as a high handicapper, breaking 80 consistently for the improving golfer or increasing our chances of hitting the magical hole in one, we golfers are all striving to improve our golf swing.

From my experiences at golf and I’ve had some great successes, from winning prizes in local competitions, breaking 80 at least four times in stroke play competitions … to scoring a hole in one twice, the second one coming just this month – all golfers want more. We want the best clubs, the best balls, and we are all desperate to continue the improvement process.

I, for one, believe in the following methods for improvement:

Finding a swing technique that you can replicate consistently … take a look at all the professionals not one has the same swing as each other, but they repeat their own swing over and over

Finding the right equipment that suits your golfswing; including custom fitting your clubs to suit you i.e stiff flex shafts, degree of loft etc

Practising whenever you can … even at home without a club

Having a pre-shot routine that you carry out prior to every shot is a must if you want to stay in the here and now i.e the shot you are about to play

And above all, playing with what you have on the day; by this I mean if you turn up on the day of the Club Championship with a slight fade when you normally hit a draw, DO NOT try and fix it there and then. Play with it.

There are many ways to improve your game, but stick to the practice ground to make changes and hone your skills.

Extra ways to encourage children into golf …

So many mums and dads I see trying to force their children to put time and effort into a sport or past-time that they end up turning the child away. The child then spends hour after hour sitting in front of the computer, and switching off to the endless comments of “Do you know how much money we have invested in you taking up (whatever sport or past-time)?” “You need to do this. You need to do that!”

Instead, I believe you should ensure that no demands or pressures are placed upon the child, at all.

At an early age there’s nothing wrong in introducing a plastic club to your child. Isn’t that where Tiger started? But do nothing more than allow them to play with it any way they wish. When old enough, introduce your child to a cut down club from the back of the shed, (you’ve probably not seen in years.)

Perhaps take him or her down to the local driving range, FOR FUN!!! Of course encourage and praise good hits, but nothing more should really be introduced until the child is ready. By this I mean, wanting more, looking like they are having fun.

Proper grips, stances and structure should only be put into practice if the child tells you they enjoy doing it.

What you don’t want to achieve is turning a potentially talented child away from something they enjoy by over complicating, and let’s face it golf is a complex game, or by adding pressure to succeed.

And ultimately, if you find they are not interested in the sport you have chosen for yourself then ensure you encourage and praise them in whatever they choose to do.

Bloggers that are searching the Internet for more information about the topic of <a
